Communication on Data Protection

On May 25, 2018, the new European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27 (RGPD) on Protection of Personal Data will enter into force. Serve the City Spain has maintained a rigorous privacy policy for years with the personal data of its members and its volunteers, as well as of all those people or entities with whom it has maintained relations or participated in our events.

Continuing with this policy of protection of privacy, we send this note to inform you of the treatments that are being carried out with your personal data, always within a professional scope, and especially to inform you about all the aspects to which this regulation obliges.

For this purpose, we inform you that your data is still included in our files under the responsibility of Serve the City Spain in order to offer the best service possible and to meet the commitments derived from the relationship we have with you, such as the empowerment of relations between associates, volunteers and event coordinators, the sending of information about volunteer projects from volunteer leaders to the volunteers, the periodic sending of communications of the different events that we organize, and information about the current affairs of the organization.

That you can exercise the rights of access, rectification and deletion of your data and that of portability, limitation and opposition, if any, to the treatment described, by writing to Serve the City in Plaza de España 13, 1A, 28008 Madrid, or by sending an email to info@servethecity.es, in addition contacting us through our website www.stcmadrid.com. If you consider that the treatment does not comply with current regulations, you can submit a claim to the control authority at www.agpd.es.

We also inform you of your right to withdraw your consent at the time you consider it appropriate and that the information is preserved while there is a mutual interest. On the other hand, there are no international transfers with your data.

In the case of any modification of your data or if you detect that any data is wrong, we ask that you inform us so that it can be corrected, in order to keep the data updated, according to Article 4 of the Organic Law 15/1999 and European Regulation.
