At Serve the City we are always trying to grow the network of non-profits we work with and we are delighted to say that throughout the summer we’ve partnered up with three new NGO friends! We can’t wait to start doing projects with them and start offering volunteer opportunities to our volunteers.
They work to defend the rights and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities (intellectual, physical and sensory) and their families. They offer early care, rehabilitation, a day center, an occupational center, and leisure and sports for people with disabilities, in addition to therapeutic groups, parents’ school and workshops for families.
They offer support, services and opportunities to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to contribute to their well-being and social inclusion, with individualized plans, promoting the defense of their citizens’ rights and ensuring their security and protection.
Promotes the social integration of people with intellectual disabilities in the Community of Madrid and provides support to families (services, guidance, information …) that they need to cover the needs that arise.
